Masjid Jinn

Masjid Jinn, also known as Masjid Haras, is built on the place where the Prophet drew a line for Abdullah bin Mas'ood after being commanded to recite the Qur'aan to the Jinn.

Masjid As-Shajarah

Masjid As-Shajarah is located towards the North of Makkah near Maulla cemetery and opposite to Masjid Jinn. The Masjid marks the spot from where the Prophet (PBUH) called a tree and it came to him.

Masjid Taneem

Taneem serves as a Miqat for people living in Mecca. This mosque is also known as Masjid Ayesha since the Prophet's wife Ayesha put her Ihram from this place.

Jamaraat Pillars

These are the three pillars that pilgrims stone in Mina in symbolic re-enactment of the Prophet Abraham (PBUH) pelting the devil who tried to dissuade him from sacrificing Ismail (PBUH).

Shabeka Graveyard

This graveyard is where some of the pagan Arabs used to bury their daughters alive prior to the advent of Islam. It is also believed that Sumayya bint Khayyat, the first martyr in Islam is buried here.

Jabal Rahma, Arafaat

Jabal Rahma (Mount of Mercy) marks the area where Adam and Hawa were reunited on earth and sought forgiveness. This is also where pilgrims gather on the 9th Dhil Hijja, the focal point of the Hajj.
