There is still room for making further betterments in Hajj arrangements despite significant improvements in last four years, said an official of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. Talking to APP he said the government’s hajj package is not only inexpensive but also best among all countries.

The Hujjaj had already expressed their confidence that the government should continue efforts to further reinforce arrangements in government hajj scheme.

He said the incumbent government took various steps for bringing betterment in Hajj and Umrah services under a vision that Hajj and Umrah was a religious obligation and improvement in this regard was not responsibility of a single party. This year majority of pilgrims have expressed satisfaction over initiatives by the ministry to facilitate their stay in Saudi Arabia comfortable.

The facilities of transport, accommodation, food and medical care were excellent. It may be kept in mind that round the clock transport facility was available to the Hujjaj. He said new Hajj policy would be formulated in consultation with stake holders. The ministry has already displayed feedback forms at ministry’s website and its face book page.
