The South African Hajj and Umrah Council (SAHUC) has announced that applications for the 2019/1440 Hajj SAHUC mission and medical team is officially open. Applicants are requested to complete an application form and submit it to the hajj body by no later than the 1st of February. The SAHUC mission and medical workers assist South Africans embarking on the spiritual journey of hajj with various specific aspects of their travel including providing hujjaj with primary medical care.

SAHUC’s Moaaz Casoo has urged Muslims across South Africa to apply to be part of the SAHUC team.

“This is the perfect opportunity to serve the guests of Allah. Very few people are fortunate to be given the opportunity to serve the guests of Allah, so we would like to appeal to the community and the Muslim members, especially the younger generation to please apply and help. You will be rewarded abundantly for the pleasure of Allah.”
