MADINAH — The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has intensified sterilization and disinfection operations throughout the Prophet’s Mosque after the dusty weather that Madinah region witnessed during the past days.

As many as 1,490 workers completed cleaning operations and prepared the Prophet’s Holy Mosque and its courtyards for visitors and worshipers.

The cleaning operations included using 25 washing machines and equipment for the Prophet’s Mosque’s courtyards, in addition to 5 equipment to clean the mosque from the inside, while environmentally friendly detergents are intensively used to avoid the accumulation of dust.
