- Sunday is the last date for issuing Umrah permits
Saturday, June 3, 2023
RIYADH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that Sunday, 15 Dhu Al-Qaadah, corresponding to the 4th of June, is the last date on which pilgrims can issue Umrah permits.
The Ministry's decision to suspend the issuance of Umrah permits comes with the aim of preparing for Hajj 2023, and to receive the Hajj pilgrims from all over the world.
It has noted that the last date for Umrah pilgrims to depart is on the 18th of June.
The Umrah visa does not allow pilgrims to perform the rituals of Hajj, the Ministry confirmed.
The Ministry called on everyone to be careful when making reservations to perform the Hajj rituals.
It warned of the importance of not dealing with fake Hajj campaigns, as it confirmed that the reservations can only be done through approved platforms.
It has indicated that the approved platforms for registration to perform Hajj for pilgrims from inside Saudi Arabia can only be done through its website: LocalHaj. Haj.Gov.Sa — and via Nusuk app.
For pilgrims from Europe, the Americas and Australia, the Ministry said that the Hajj reservations can be done only via: Hajj.Nusuk.Sa.
The Ministry said that pilgrims from Islamic countries wishing to make Hajj reservations can only do so through the Hajj affairs offices responsible for registering their pilgrims in Islamic countries.
