Saudi Minister For Hajj And Umrah Concludes Visit To Russia

JEDDAH:  The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfig Al-Rabiah has concluded an official trip to Russia and its regions, where held meetings to further enhance cooperation and improve services for visitors and pilgrims.

Dr. Al-Rabiah has welcomed Russian Muslims, stressing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) resolve to providing opportunities for all to perform Hajj and Umrah. He also highlighted the use of digital solutions from Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance services and obtain satisfaction, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

According to the SPA, Dr. Al-Rabiah also met with the Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, who lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) efforts. He met with officials in Dagestan and Tatarstan to discuss improving the experience of pilgrim.

In Moscow, the minister met with Russian officials, including Deputy PM Tatyana Golikova and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, to discuss cooperation and improving services for pilgrims from Russia. The visit also included the opening of the “Nusuk” exhibition, enhancing cooperation between service providers and showcasing new services for pilgrims.

According to the SPA, these efforts are part of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to meet the aspirations of pilgrims as well as visitors across the world by enhancing coordination and improving their experience.
