Grand Mosque to receive 70,000 Umrah pilgrims daily

he General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has completed all preparations to receive Umrah pilgrims after increasing the capacity to 70,000 per day. These preparations were completed under the supervision of Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, the head of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.

New mechanism soon for issuance of single Umrah visa

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has plans to launch new mechanisms to buy Umrah package and issue entry visas for those coming from outside the Kingdom. The mechanism would enable any aspiring foreign pilgrim to get single Umrah visa issued online.

Jeddah see highest occupancy rate increase in Saudi Arabia

Hotels in Jeddah have seen a a 33 percent year-on-year increase in occupancies during Q2 2021. By comparison, Riyadh hotels saw an eight percent drop, Damman and Khobar saw a three percent increase, Makkah saw a 43 percent decrease and Madinah had 24 percent decrease.
